The case is Zivotofsky v. Secretary of State, and it involves the right of a Jerusalem-born American citizen to self-identify as born in “Israel” on his or her U.S. passport and birth certificate.

As Israel is a non-cooperative state at the Human Rights Council, the IAJLJ sent to the Council the following documents:
· Israeli Law Enforcement in the West Bank;
· International Fact-Finding Mission on Israeli Settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
On January 31, 2013 - The Report of the independent international fact-finding mission to investigate the implications of the Israeli settlements on the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of the Palestinian people throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem - was recieved.
